Installation Instructions

Installing Mateflex III court tiles is simple and DIY-friendly:

1. Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the surface is clean, free of dirt, dust, grease, or any other debris.

2. Begin Installation: Start in one corner of the area, positioning the female side (loops) of the first tile away from the wall.

3. Lay Out the Tiles: Arrange the tiles in a perpendicular pattern, covering the entire area according to your design.

4. Cutting for Edges: When you encounter edges, walls, or obstacles, measure the space and trim the tiles using a sharp utility knife, tile cutter, or table saw. Leave a 3/4” gap between the tiles and any surrounding structures to allow for expansion and contraction.

5. Edge Installation: Once all tiles are in place, snap in the edge pieces if you have purchased them.

   Game Line Application

   To apply game lines:

   • Use painter's tape or 3M 2060 tape to outline the lines.
   • Apply a two-part polyurethane paint for a long-lasting finish.
